Activities Concierge Center


With dozens upon dozens of things to do at the resort and nearby, our Activities Concierge Center has been created to help you choose the things you would like to do during your stay.  From resort activities to outdoor adventures, natural wonders and man-made attractions, The Activities Concierge Center has everything you need to know to complement your stay.  

The Center is located off the Main Lobby and includes brochures as well as on-line access to assist in making your choices.  Plus, our Activities Coordinator is there to personally assist you with resort and area recreation options.

While many of the activities can be arranged during your visit, some of them will need to be pre-arranged, prior to your arrival.  Please call or use our Activities Request Form.

Golf Even if you are not on our golf package or in the golf school, the course, practice facilities, and personal PGA instruction are available to you.  Just check with the Golf Shop for details.  More...

Horse drawn sleigh/wagon rides:  Available this winter on Saturdays, Holidays and during Bethel area festivals and events.  More...

Ice Skating:  NEW for this winter, we'll be offering a lighted ice skating rink at the resort.  Bring your skates or rentals are available within the Cross Country Ski Center.

Mahoosuc Kids Camp:  An area summer day camp for children ages 5 - 11.  Daily activities and weekly themes and may include a golf clinic, swimming lessons or a field trip.  Advanced reservations required.

Mountain Bike Rentals:  Available by the day or half day for tours of the local area and nearby trails.  More...

Nordic Walking:  The latest fitness craze, offered at the resort this summer.  Walk the historic village and surrounding trails and enjoy this unique fitness experience.  More...

Skiing and Snowboading:
  Bethel, Maine is know as "the greatest ski town in the Universe" by Ski Magazine.  Sunday River Ski Resort offers over 130 trails from 8 mountains peaks, just 6.8 miles from the resort.  Less than 5 minutes away is Mt. Abram Family Ski Resort with nearly 45 trails and a great learning area for beginners and families.  The Bethel Inn offers lodging packages with lift tickets to both areas.  

Whitewater Rafting:  It's a full day, but worth the trip to the Kennebec or Penobscot Rivers.  More...

Gem and Mineral Tours:  The Bethel area is part of a region that is one of the world's richest resources of gems and minerals.  Take a tour of a local mine in Albany, Maine.  

Hiking/Walking/Jogging:  Hike or trail run one of the dozens of trails in Grafton Notch State Park or the White Mountain National Forest.  In-town Bethel, enjoy the 1.5 mile Androscoggin River Recreational Walking Trail or the 1 mile Bethel Recreational Path.

Historic Tours Take a tour of our National Historic District.  From historic homes to regional barns on display, be sure to visit the Bethel Historical Society's Regional Historic Center during your visit.

Mt. Washington Auto Road:  You might have seen the bumper sticker, "This car climbed Mt. Washington".  Just 45 minutes from the resort, take the trek and enjoy amazing views of New England.

State & National Parks:  Bethel, Maine borders the White Mountain National Forest with Evan Notch and Grafton Notch State Parks located just miles from resort offering dozens of hikes, waterfalls and natural attractions.  

Scenic drives:  From valley drives along the Androscoggin River banks to country roads through historic farmsteads, Bethel provides a unique auto-touring adventure with ample photo opportunities.  

Sunday River Alpacas:  Nearby West Bethel is home to Sunday River Alpacas, a growing herd of alpacas, many named from favorite ski trails at Sunday River Ski Resort.  Mo "The Alpaca Lady" encourages family to visit the farm to meet her and the animals.  The farm is open Thursday through Sunday from 1pm - 4pm.  The on-site farm store has great alpaca products and can be reached at (207) 890-3148.

Theaters:  The four screen Casablanaca Cinema shows the latest movies and just 30 minutes away, Deertrees Theatre offers an eclectic summer schedule of theater, music, dance and children's shows.
